Acceptance

Acceptance represented by the Past, Present and Future
Acceptance

And acceptance is the answer to all my problems today. When I am disturbed, it is because I find some person, place, thing, or situation—some fact of my life—unacceptable to me, and I can find no serenity until I accept that person, place, thing, or situation as being exactly the way it is supposed to be at this moment. Nothing, absolutely nothing, happens in the world by mistake.

Great words for today. It has been a testing one today, and this post helped. Thanks.

That is what I believe also. Everything that is happening in the now is supposed to happen and everything has it’s purpose even though sometimes it is hard to figure out what it is at the time, later down the track you find the reason why and as you grow older and look back, you can see the whys and wherefores of all the situations that have been and how one situation has given the tools to cope with the next. Quite amazing really, I feel like a wise old owl now!!! . People likewise, some really get up our noses, but they are who they are and if you accept them for who they are, normally you find they are good souls born with a personality which clashes with yours.. We are all different.

Yes Mama Bear you are so right. There is no doubt that age brings wisdom and as we look back we see the reason for many things and the lessons of life we have learnt. Acceptance is the only way forward. If we don’t accept what is thrown at us and deal with it, it then weighs us down and so it is with people. We are always so quick to judge others without accepting that they believe who they are and what they choose is right for them but not always our way. However who is to say who is right and who is wrong.
