Agreed. On the big decisions, I also often ask myself “what’s the worst that can happen, and if it does, can I live with it?” For me it makes potentially scary things seem much less fearful.
Will it matter in a hundred years ?? Not much will , so go for it !!

I think this all the time when I’m worried about something. I ask myself…”will I care, or even remember this decision/problem/worry in a year from now?”. If the answer is “no”, I try to stop worrying 🙂
